Styles of therapy we use in our practice:

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy is an evidence-based form of talk therapy that focuses on exploring past experiences and understanding how they relate to current issues and relationships. This type of therapy helps individuals identify unconscious patterns of behavior, gain insight, and develop healthier ways of relating to the world.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy

Mindfulness based cognitive therapy is a form of psychotherapy that combines the practice of mindfulness with traditional cognitive therapy techniques. This therapy helps individuals better understand their thoughts and feelings, and teaches them how to respond to them in a more positive and productive manner. Through the practice of mindfulness, clients learn to become more aware of their present moment experience and to respond to it with greater insight and clarity.

Acceptance & Committment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a modern form of psychotherapy that focuses on helping clients live more meaningful and values-driven lives. It encourages individuals to accept their thoughts and feelings without judgement, while committing to and taking action towards their desired outcomes. With this approach, clients can develop a strong sense of self-awareness and acceptance, leading to improved emotional wellbeing.

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy is a short-term, evidence-based approach that helps couples reconnect and build secure and lasting relationships. Through a structured, goal-oriented process, it helps couples identify and address negative patterns of interaction and create a secure emotional bond. With this approach, couples can learn to understand each other’s feelings and needs, communicate more effectively, and find lasting solutions to their relationship challenges.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is a form of therapy that helps individuals develop skills to cope with difficult emotions, reduce conflict, and improve relationships. It combines cognitive-behavioural techniques with strategies of mindfulness and acceptance. DBT is an evidence-based psychotherapy that is highly effective for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and other mental health issues.

Person Centered Therapy

The Everyday Goddess® is a therapy practice that uses a person-centered therapy and holistic approach to support clients in the cultivation of their best selves. This form of psychotherapy is grounded in the idea that people are inherently motivated toward achieving positive psychological functioning. Our practitioners provide a safe and nurturing environment to help individuals embrace their unique goddess within and create balance in their mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
